I still do things sometimes. Commission from Kaz that I colored, though I think I just asked Evil Quill Weave’s Birthday Party. Leave it to Kaz to turn it into a pathetic scene of sadness and pathos!
Though it could be interpreted as tears of joy at Faceless Mook throwing her a birthday party at all. (Though knowing Kaz, that’s unlikely. More likely she realizes how pathetic that she had to order her minion to throw her a party.)

During a stream last week, I wanted Kaz to draw me something with Quill + (somebody who is NOT Katia) for Valentines Day. A lot of suggestions were thrown out but Kaz suggested Quill + Quill. Now THERE’S a novel concept! So thus began my favorite so far I think.
Here’s the original I got from Kaz (unfortunately a day after VDay, but so it goes.)
Talk about beautiful! That’s beyond adorable. And yeah, damned sexy too without being explicit. (BTW, on closer inspection I noticed he’d drawn flames around the pupils on the right-hand Quill).
Besides the awesomeness of two amorous lizards staring deeply into each others eyes with Love and Lust, I also particularly liked how it can be interpreted depending on your specific preferences. Right had Q can definitely be interpreted as male if you so choose, Or not! Whichever is just fine!
So I REALLY wanted to do a good job on coloring this. I hope the result is as good as I think it is!
That is, if you don’t’ recognize it, the I Love Lucy heart. Somehow it just seemed appropriate, even in greyscale as it is.
Intent is to show Q+Q at night, though I’m not sure if it translates to a night scene as much as I intended. I also slightly lightened the colors of left-Q. Just seemed appropriate. But regardless, it’s by far the favorite one I’ve done yet. Hope you like too! Lizards in Lust!

I did another thing. I think really I’m just trying to get better at coloring. The more I thought about it, the more I realized this shading doesn’t make a lot of sense. But by then I’d gone to far and said “to hell with it, it doesn’t have to be physically possible shading, right?”
I won’t go through all the layers, just starting and ending. Here’s what Kaz sent me:

Frankly I’m not sure the coloring/shading even is an improvement. But all work is increasing my abilities, right? RIGHT? I hope so. This took me about 3 days (on and off) to complete so dammit, I BETTER be learning something!
I’m particularly anxious about the next one he’s sending me though. I conceived of an entire fanfiction (just a short thing) around it. I may ask him to do a couple more related to that fanfic too next stream.
Can you separate a name like “Weedum-Ja” like that? Well, anyway, I did. Here’s our Fourth band member, Weedum-Ja. She’s the one that dragged S’thengir into the band. I call her “Six Fingers” because Kaz tends to draw Argonians with only 3 fingers per hand.
So here’s she is tickling the ivories as they say. But this time I won’t post the layers. Haven’t got a lot to say about it, though I do like her!
Rather than just put it here and shut up, I enjoy yabbering too much. So I started with this. (Again, the blue is mine – I just don’t like white backgrounds) This is the sketch Kaz drew for me.
So the first step was to turn it into lineart that I could work the colors around. After Kaz’s suggestion of using a tapered stroke on paths for lines that end, I came up with this improvement:
Now I did screw up a bit and put some shading on the line layer, but owell. Notice the lines around the nose for instance that fade, or the breastbone line. Anyway, once I did that, it really did improve the overall look. However, I suspect that drawing such lines is easier in GraphicsGale than Photoshop. So then time to flat-color:
Again, this had a bit of highlighting that I improperly put on the line layer, but so goes it. The only color I had to improvise was the tongue here really. The head does look a bit large to me, but I was worried about shading since I really didn’t know how I’d be able to shade the snout/forehead. But I think I ended up doing okay anyway:
I watched a tutorial on eye shading and think I got a pretty interesting look for her eyes here, Spent an inordinate amount of time on her legs and belly, but that’s okay because I LIKE legs and bellies! And boob shading of course. Can never forget the boob shading. Considered shading for the mic stand, but then I decided that based on the light source, it probably wouldn’t shade here. Like my mic stand gradient? I sorta do!
And then, of course, throwing in the background. Definitely looks nice if I do say so myself! Off to post it all over the place and get all the loves. (ok, ok, it’s Kaz that drew it. But hey, I’m improving too!)
I’m starting a new project, but it involves Argonian body textures in Skyrim and there will be no censoring. The purpose, at least at this point,is to sort of document an edit to someone else’s AWESOME Argonian textures.

I DO love that texture, but alas, no nipples. I’m not debating that, but he did say on his blog that he might be OK with someone else editing his textures to add them.
Now it just so happens that someone (CERTAINLY not me!) recently stole his Khajiit texture and tried to pass it off as their own on the Nexus. As some of you may know, I made a passable Cloak of Grey Tomorrow mod – but because the author of one of the pieces used did not respond to my requests to allow it to be posted, I never did and used it only for myself. I DO respect author’s rights, and will of course do so with this as well. So if I do manage to complete it in anywhere near the quality of the original, I’ll just ask ChaserTech if he would like to include it in his post as an option.
But that’s not what this post is really all about. When doing anything like this, if I’m going to post it, it needs to be on an Adult restricted blog. So I’ve created one at bdnsfw.tumblr.com. Since most of my Skyrim mods I’ve documented here, it seemed like the best place to put a notice of this new project. But this isn’t officially an Adult blog, and that is.
There’ll certainly be no censorship there, but I should also point out that it’s intent ISN’T sexual, but is more of a technical nature. So where ChaserTech is currently working on male Argonian “SoS Shlongs” to match his Dragonic Male textures, that’s sort of like what I’ll be doing here but discussing the process and the textures.
Still, if close up Argonian vagina screenshots disturb you, stay away. If Really Badly Done Argonian nipple textures disturb you, then even MORE stay away. But if you’d like to follow along – well, that’s where I’ll be posting progress.

Finally, be aware that texture modding in Skyrim is much more of an art than a science, ESPECIALLY on actor bodies. I may end up with something worse than I started with and not actually use it anywhere.
